Al Gore was Bill Clinton's vice president and alleged Internet creator of urban legend. Gore was later the Democratic presidential nominee in the 2000 election. He lost the nail-bitingly close election to George W. Bush, despite calls for recounts in Florida and Gore winning the popular vote. Currently, he is an environmentalist, and he produced the successful documentary An Inconvienient Truth, which covers the dangers about global warming. These efforts earned him (along with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) a Nobel Peace Prize.
