Luigi Mario is the taller and thinner member of the Mario Bros. Along with his brother, Mario Mario, he has saved the Mushroom Kingdom time and time again from the clutches of Bowser. In his spare time, he teaches gambling to Nintendo DS owners.
Luigi has very bad luck.

Sometime in 2007, someone on 4chan's /v/ image board posted an image of Luigi derived from the sprite from the little-known educational DOS game Mario Is Missing! Soon, people were photoshopping the image into every other image in the thread. Eventually /b/tards began doing the same and the meme has continued ever since.
