Gerardo Medina was the first son of [[Lina Medina]], the world's youngest documented mother. He was named for [[Dr. Gérardo Lozada|the doctor who delivered him]]. Nobody, not even his mother, knows who his father was or is.
He grew up believing his mother was his sister until doctors revealed the truth when he was 10 years old.
Medina grew up like any other boy, but he died in 1979 of a bone marrow disease.
