He is a second-year &#039;&#039;ronin&#039;&#039; student (i.e. he failed college entrance exams) who is struggling to study to see if he can get into Tokyo University. As a result of his failure, his parents kick him out of the house, and Urashima wanders over to what he thinks is the Hinata Inn, a hotel owned by his grandmother, but when he gets there, he finds out that the hotel has been converted into an all-girls dormitory owned by his Aunt Haruka. As it turns out, his grandmother actually left the hotel/dormitory to Keitaro, so he becomes the landlord.
