New page

Lina Medina is a Peruvian woman with a bizarre hormonal condition which caused her to hit puberty while she was still an infant. In 1939, when she was five years old, she was taken to a hospital because her parents thought she had a tumor in her abdomen; it turned out she was seven months pregnant. On May 14, 1939, she gave birth to [[Gerardo Medina|a son]] by Caesarean section. Since she was so young, doctors told Lina her son was actually her brother and the two grew up as siblings until doctors told them the truth 10 years later.
As of 2002, Medina lives with her husband Raúl Jurado in the Chicago Chico district of Lima, Peru. She has refused to give interviews.
