Another ugly puppet from the Peppermint Park series. Maynard had a red shirt and gloves resembling those used for {{character|Earnie}}'s hands. He also has white eye brows and a large nose and bottom lip. 
In "blue" they are introducing the color blue with Maynard singing to a jazz-like tune about how "blue" he feels. This is done in similar fashion to {{character|Earnie}}'s "M" song as in staying in place and gesturing.
