Tai Kamiya, known as Taichi Yagami (八神 太一) in Japan, is the protagonist of the anime Digimon Adventure (better known as the first season of Digimon: Digital Monsters). He is the leader of the DigiDestined and older brother of Kari Kamiya (Hikari Yagami: 八神 ヒカリ). His accompanying Digimon is Agumon.
