Mr. Sparkle is the mascot (and name) for an imaginary brand of Japanese dish detergent, as seen in the ''Simpsons'' episode "In Marge We Trust". He's a jabbering disembodied head who bears an uncanny resemblance to [[Homer Simpson]], and whose commercials bear an uncanny resemblance to animutations (like a lot of other Japanese commercials). As it turns out, the detergent was a joint venture between Matsumura Fishworks and Tamaribuchi Heavy Manufacturing Concern, and his face is formed by a combination of their logos, a fish and a lightbulb respectively. So the matter was quickly resolved, and Bart coined a new nickname for Homer: "Fishbulb".
