Brendan is the male protagonist of the Hoenn-set Pokemon games. Perhaps best known for appearing as if he has a white head of hair, though the "hair" is actually a hat. Like most Pokemon game protagonists, he has a Pokemon Adventures manga counterpart that uses the name of one the games he stars in (in this case, Ruby).
