Buff Riku refers to a fan illustration of Riku from the Kingdom Hearts games with enormous muscles. The art was popularized by the Games Repainted channel on Twitch and Youtube, where the art was placed on modified video game textures. The illustration was originally made on July 7th, 2008, but didn't become popular until March 2015.
