Boo are ghost enemies from the Mario games. Their most common attack pattern is to sneak up on the player from behind while they're facing away from them, but they stop their attack if looked at. Their king is King Boo, who is much larger than an average Boo, and wears a crown.
Boo also has an amiibo figure that glows in the dark.
