Bulbasaur is a grass/poison type Pokemon from the Pokemon video games. It resembles a small, blue reptile with a green bulb on its back. It's notable for being one of the three starter Pokemon in Red, Blue, Firered, and Leafgreen, the others being fire-type Charmander and water-type Squirtle. Bulbasaur is usually male. Bulbasaur evolves into Ivysaur, who then evolves into Venusaur.
