Fred Flintstone is the star of the classic animated sitcom The Flintstones, and patriarch of the titular "modern Stone Age family". Heavily inspired by (some would say ripped off from) Ralph Kramden from The Honeymooners, in that he's a loud-mouthed but loveable lug whose crazy schemes sometimes get him in over his head. There's far fewer threats of domestic violence between Fred and Wilma, though.
