If you have never played any Mario games whatsoever, you may not have heard of Yoshi. He's a green dinosaur with a big nose, a long, sticky tongue, and opposable thumbs. He debuted in Super Mario World simply as something for Mario to ride, but since then he has starred in three of his own games. In Super Mario 64 he just made a cameo appearance, but he was able to carry Mario around once again in Super Mario Sunshine. Unlike Donkey Kong, all of Yoshi's solo adventures mostly have the exact same baddies as Mario's, including Bowser as the final boss. Hopefully, someday he will have his own enemies and his own new friends, maybe even his own special lady.
