Clamperl is a water-type Pokemon that looks like a clam, and can be found in underwater routes in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, the only games it is obtainable in. It grows while being protected by its rock-hard shell. When its body becomes too large to fit inside the shell, it is sure evidence that this Pokemon is getting close to evolution. It made it's animutation debut in More Pie!.
