Michael Jackson (August 29, 1958-June 25, 2009) was a pop star ever since the late 1960's, with his start in the Jackson 5.
He later went solo and reached the height of his popularity in the 1980s. In later years, his behavior got even more erratic, such as buying the publishing rights to Lennon-McCartney, marrying Elvis Presley's daughter, plastic surgery, bleaching his skin, false child molestation accusations, building an amusement park at his Neverland estate, and lawsuits. For the latter reasons, he was often made fun of.
He died of a drug overdose.
