Over the hills and far away, Teletubbies come to play!
The Teletubbies are these four creepy looking space toddlers from the PBS kids' show of the same name, with colorful felt bodies, antennae coming out of their heads, and television screens in their abdomens. Their names, for anyone curious, are Dipsy, Po, La-La, and Tinky-Winky. They basically run around doing silly things, and watching pointless little video clips... over and over and over and over again.
It made headlines when conservative preacher Jerry Falwell accused Tinky-Winky of being a homosexual, based on the fact he/she/it was purple, had a triangular antenna, and carried a purse around.
