Pull Harder Screams Marthur is the debut Fanimutation created by Sandy Nisbet in the Summer of 2005, which uses the track "Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr" by the metalcore band Trivium. The title originates from the "fake lyrics" of the real title. The video is unique, compared to most fanimutations, as it was created using Windows Movie Maker, instead of a Flash program. The creator admits this decision was made as he had no knowledge of or experience with flash.

History

The video became popular among friends, and gained popularity once uploaded onto websites such as YouTube and Google Video. A sequel in plot was made, Going to Jericho.

Clone Videos

The popularity of the video led to many copycat movies, at first using Trivium songs, then songs from various other bands. As these videos gained popularity on YouTube, they were dubbed with the genre titles "Misheard Lyrics" and "Interpretation", by YouTube users with no knowledge of Animutation. The creator is aware of the clone videos, and, as he claims on the Google Video page of PHSM, he is ashamed that there are so many, and of their poor quality. He reminds the viewer on the page that his video is the original, and asks they reserve judgement on his video before viewing.

Plot

The video stars British kids' TV puppets "Rosie and Jim", and follows Jim as he seeks revenge on "Evil Rosie Cosplayer" for killing the real Rosie. The video, strangely, does not feature Colin Mochrie. Creator Sandy Nisbet admits he simply "forgot" to include him.
