Lettuce Midorikawa

Lettuce Midorikawa (碧川れたす, literally "blue/green river lettuce"), known as Bridget Verdant in the infamous English dub, is a Tokyo junior high school student who was injected with the DNA of a black finless porpoise as part of the Mew Mew project. With the incantation "Mew Mew Lettuce Metamorphosis!", she becomes Mew Lettuce. Her weapon is the Lettuce Castanets (Combat Castanets), and her attack is "Ribbon Lettuce Rush!" (unnamed in the dub). Her injection site mark is just below the cleft in her collarbone.

There are four other girls endowed with magical powers as a result of the Mew Mew project: Ichigo Momomiya, Mint Aizawa, Pudding Fong and Zakuro Fujiwara.
