Jump to navigationJump to searchHitmonlee is a brown fighting-type Pokemon from the Pokemon video games, and it is always male. It specializes in kicking, and it is named after Bruce Lee. Hitmonlee, in Red, Blue, Yellow, Firered, and Leafgreen, can be obtained by defeating the Fighting Dojo, where you have the choice of picking eighter it or Hitmonchan. From Gold and Silver onwards, Hitmonlee evolves from Tyrogue if the Tyrogue has higher attack than defense when it reaches level 20. Hitmonlee only appeared in one animutation, where it was used to represent the mondegreen "Kicky."
