The Sun

The Sun is a medium-sized(for how stars are measured), yellow(meaning that it's halfway through its life) star, which is best known for providing the light for Earth, making it the reason why we are living today. It is out during the daytime, as it faces the side of the Earth it's daytime on, and it isn't out during nighttime, as the other side of the Earth obviously can't be seeing the sun.

The Sun has appeared in animutations as well. Its most notable example by far is in Hyakugojyuuichi, where the Sun is shown with the face of Colin Mochrie, a possible parody of the baby Sun of Teletubbies. Most of the Sun's other appearances in animutations tend to be a normal image of the sun, or a Sun with a simplistic face.
