Diglett
Diglett is a ground-type Pokemon from the Pokemon series of games. It is obtainable in all of the handheld games except for Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. In the games Diglett is in, it is always in the same area - Diglett's Cave, a cave infested by Diglett, and its evolution, Dugtrio, can be found there as well.
Diglett, although it resembles a lump more than it does a mole, is a mole. The fact it's a mole is supported by its Pokedex entry, which states that its a mole Pokemon, and the fact it burrows through and lives underground, much like moles in real life.
Diglett lives underground to feed on plant roots. It will sometimes go above ground, but nobody knows its real size, as it only pokes its head eight inches above ground. Diglett is an ideal Pokemon for farmers, as Diglett's burrowing makes the ground perfect for crops.
Diglett has only made one appearance in animutations. It was in missalaynious, where a group of weird looking Diglett appeared.
