Ringo Akai (, literally "red apple") is a character found only in the Japan-only Playstation game Tokyo Mew Mew. She is Ichigo Momomiya's first cousin, presumably on her mother's side. She is injected with the DNA of a Humboldt penguin as an emergency extension of the Mew Mew project. She transforms with the incantation "Mew Mew Ringo Metamorphosis!" into Mew Ringo. Her weapon is the Appletick. Her injection mark location is unknown.
