Michael Jackson was a pop star ever since the late 1960's, with his start in the Jackson 5. He later went solo and reached the height of his popularity in the 1980s. In the 1990s he got plastic surgery and bleached his skin, which many people considered ugly; and in 2003, he was accused of sexually molesting several young boys, which got him sent to court. For those two reasons, he is often made fun of. He is either constantly sued by a lot of people for various reasons, or sues a lot of people himself.
On Thursday, June 25, 2009, he died of a drug overdose.
