Larry "Bud" Melman is a character portrayed by actor Calvert DeForest which appeared on Late Night with David Letterman and later on The Late Show with David Letterman; although, in the case of the latter, the name of Larry "Bud" Melman was not able to be used due to NBC claiming it as their intellectual property.
