In his never-ending battle to find out more about his origins, he must slash, hack, and flail his way through a series of battles, dungeons, and puzzles. He is able to make use of "jade fairies," or magical entities sealed within special jewels. One might say jade fairies are the true precursor of Pokémon. Hmmm?
