Pac-Man is one of the oldest characters in video game history, looking like a yellow circle that eats dots in the original Pac-Man. His enemies are the Pac-Man Ghosts. He was originally supposed to be called "Puckman" in the U.S. because of his hockey puck-like shape, but Namco realized that the "p" could easily translate to an "f" in the eyes of American youth, so they retained the name Pac-Man.
Pac-Man has made several animutation appearances. In animutations, he has appeared briefly during white flashes and ate Shadow the Hedgehog, along with Brock's angel.
