Jump to navigationJump to searchKaoru Matsubara (松原かおる) is one of the main protagonists in the anime Demashita-! Powerpuff Girls Z (出ましたっ!パワパフガールズZ). She, much like her original counterpart, is quite tomboyish and rough-and-tumble. Her father is a professional masked wrestler (it is not clear if he practices Mexican lucha wrestling or not) and Kaoru aspires to also be a professional wrestler. Her transformed form is Powered Buttercup and her characteristic weapon is a Daruma Otoshi (a Japanese children's game) hammer.
