Koopa Troopas are a common turtle-like enemy in the Mario video game series. A stomp causes it to retreat into its shell, which can then be kicked around and used to strike out other baddies. There are several other forms of Koopa Troopa with different abilities, like the winged Koopa Paratroopa.
