Wow, man. How can you be a sysop and still have a red talk page? I think this is a really empty wiki. Flameviper 05:04, 30 July 2006 (PDT)

Hey. Who's in charge of the server currently, you or Dwedit? This MediaWiki installation is in serious need of an update. --AdamAtlas 19:10, 29 October 2006 (PST)

MediaWiki:Sidebar needs a minor update - the "Flash Artists" link currently points to :Category:Flash Artists, which has been obsoleted by :Category:Animutation Authors in an effort to eliminate the incorrect implication that all Animutations are done in Flash. The link label should probably be changed as well, perhaps to "Animutation Authors" or something shorter (if necessary).

End the Spam

I've brought this up in the past with Dwedit, but it never happened - please, please update the wiki configuration to disallow edits from anonymous users. One need only take a look at recent changes to see why. Signing up for an account isn't difficult for legitimate contributors to do, and it will at least temporarily ward off the damn spambots. Plus, when people make edits, it's nice to see actual names behind them instead of numbers. --Quietust 09:26, 22 October 2007 (PDT)

Request for Botship

I've got a bot account, QuietBot, which I'd like to have registered as a bot on the wiki so it can perform mass updates to pages without cluttering up Recent Changes. If you would rather I use my own account, simply say so and I will comply. Additionally, if you would rather I not perform mass updates to pages at all, simply say so and I'll do it manually. Incidentally, the first task is to add all animutation pages to a category to facilitate tracking which ones haven't yet been updated to use animutation infobox; at least one subsequent task will be to clean up the usage of all of the character filmography pages (possibly by just using MediaWiki's "What Links Here" functionality for most of them, or at least using a template to insert the filmography categories into articles instead of having to add them manually). --Quietust 14:23, 9 May 2007 (PDT)

 • User:QuietBot has been added to the Bots group, thanks for all your work on the wiki Quietust. --Mudi 14:56, 9 May 2007 (PDT)

Sidebar Edit

MediaWiki:Sidebar needs a minor update - the "Flash Artists" link currently points to Category:Flash Artists, which has been obsoleted by Category:Animutation Authors in an effort to eliminate the incorrect implication that all Animutations are done in Flash. The link label should probably be changed as well, perhaps to "Animutation Authors" or something shorter (if necessary).

On a side note, there is also a surplus of pages and categories to be deleted from the wiki - see Category:To Be Deleted for a full list. --Quietust 13:12, 16 May 2007 (PDT)

 • Done, please let me know if anything else needs to be done. --Mudi 19:19, 16 May 2007 (PDT)
