End the Spam
I've brought this up in the past with Dwedit, but it never happened - please, please update the wiki configuration to disallow edits from anonymous users. One need only take a look at recent changes to see why. Signing up for an account isn't difficult for legitimate contributors to do, and it will at least temporarily ward off the damn spambots. Request for Botship
I've got a bot account, QuietBot, which I'd like to have registered as a bot on the wiki so it can perform mass updates to pages without cluttering up Recent Changes. If you would rather I use my own account, simply say so and I will comply. Additionally, if you would rather I not perform mass updates to pages at all, simply say so and I'll do it manually. Sidebar Edit
MediaWiki:Sidebar needs a minor update - the "Flash Artists" link currently points to Category:Flash Artists, which has been obsoleted by Category:Animutation Authors in an effort to eliminate the incorrect implication that all Animutations are done in Flash. The link label should probably be changed as well, perhaps to "Animutation Authors" or something shorter (if necessary).
On a side note, there is also a surplus of pages and categories to be deleted from the wiki - see Category:To Be Deleted for a full list. --Quietust 13:12, 16 May 2007 (PDT)
