Edgar Allan Poe was a 19th century author and poet who wrote many creepy and depressing stories and poems, incuding some of his most well-known being The Tell-Tale Heart, The Raven, The Pit and the Pendulum and Hop-Frog. He was a heavy drinker and did a fair amount of drugs. He defeated Po in battle.
