The Magikarp Salesman has appeared in several Pokemon episodes, although his actual name is unknown. He is a con artist, who sells useless Pokemon (mostly Magikarp) at high prices backing them with lies about their "special traits" to get people (mainly James of Team Rocket fame) to buy them. In animutation, he was offering a robot instead.
