'''The Sun''' is a medium-sized(for how stars are measured), yellow(meaning that it's halfway through its life) star, which is best known for providing the light for [[Earth]], making it the reason why we are living today. It is out during the daytime, as it faces the side of the Earth it's daytime on, and it isn't out during nighttime, as the other side of the Earth obviously can't be seeing the sun.

The Sun is a mass of incandescent gas, a gigantic nuclear furnace (though by the standard of stars, is only medium sized) and so on. It is made out of pure Arctic Circle Candy, according to Pokey the Penguin.

The Sun is a recurring motif in animutation. The most notable take on the Sun is Hyakugojyuuichi's Colin Mochrie Sun, a possible parody of the baby Sun of Teletubbies (as noted Neil Cicierega's official guide), which has returned to many animutations since. Most of the Sun's other appearances in animutations tend to be a real image of the Sun, or a generic cartoony Sun with a simplistic face.
