Audio Details
- This song was written for the "South Park" episode "Good Times With Weapons," in which Stan, Cartman, Kyle, Kenny, and Butters go to a fair and purchase Japanese weapons for play-fighting, and Butters is severely injured as a result.
- Trey Parker, the co-creator of "South Park" and writer/performer of this song, majored in music and Japanese in college. Several other episodes of the show contain actual Japanese dialogue.
- The second verse of the song is rather self-referential. It mentions how the song is idiotic and nonsensical, and that the songwriter has a shaky grasp of the English language.
