Bob Dole (July 22, 1923 – December 5, 2021) is the illeist, pen-clutching former politician and Viagra spokesman who served decades in the U.S. Senate as a Republican from Kansas, rising through the ranks to eventually serve as Senate Majority Leader. He ran for president in 1996 but lost to incumbent Bill Clinton (his campaign website remains available online, a classic Web 1.0 fossil). Though he didn't win the presidency, a few years later he received something even more prestigious - his own animutational experience.
