Newgrounds is a web animation community focused around the Portal, a free Flash movie/game hosting service. The catch is that when you submit a movie, the mob gets to rate it on a scale of 0 to 5, and if it is lower than a certain score after a certain number of votes, your movie is deleted, forever consigned to the dustbin of history. Or preserved outside NG, like Monster Deer, a fine animutation which was tragically killed by a drive-by blamming on Newgrounds.
