The Villagers are the player-controlled and customizable characters in the Animal Crossing games. They can range from male to female, and can wear different outfits, including custom outfits designed by the player. A male villager was confirmed for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in 2013, and he became a meme, mainly due to people finding him creepy. The villager in question is often portrayed as a killer due to him using an axe, usually used to cut down trees. GraceJacques340 owns an amiibo of the Villager, and due to it being ordered for a high price online, she has to be careful with it.
