Audio Details

The song is the English version of opening theme song to the Sega CD game Lunar: The Silver Star. It was composed by CUBE. The English lyrics were written by Victor Ireland (who appears briefly in the video) and sung by Shiya Almeda. The original Japanese version was sung by Mayumi Sudou.

Trivia

• Two of the characters, Nall and Ghaleon, are from the game the song is from.
• This is the first animutation ever made in Sony Vegas.
• Many of the images are of Neopets from the Fun Images part of the website.
• The lip sync was done frame by frame in photoshop, due to the limitations of Sony Vegas.
• During the first two sets of mondegreens, Nall is flying backwards.
• Many of the background images were found using the random image feature on Wikipedia. Paul Luther was discovered through the random article feature.
• Near the beginning there is a marquee saying "sample my goods". This is the catch phrase of White Knight Leo from Lunar 2: Eternal Blue, the sequel to the game the song is from.
• The pancakes are from Trigun.
• One subliminal message features a visual pun, a picture of Lena Horne than a picture of Lina Inverse with a horn on her head.
• Another visual pun subliminal message shows a character of the day from Trigun named Neil next to the word "Cicierega".
• The most difficult to spot subliminal message is a picture of Prabhu Deva AKA "Benny Lava" flashing for a millisecond at a few points in the video.
• Other subliminal images include Junji Ito, Thundergirl from Action League Now!, Jennifer (Stigile) Magallanes, and Starfy from The Legendary Starfy flashing on screen briefly.
• Jennifer Magallanes appears several times in the video. Under her maiden name Jenny Stigile she was known as the singing voice for Working Designs. Fighting Through The Darkness is one of the few Working Designs song dubs that DOES NOT have Jenny singing it.
• There is a scene of Livio the Double Fang talking quickly about Nall. A transcription of that scene:

"Nall is good" "Nall is cool" "Nall is not a cat" "Nall bounces over the mondegreens" "Watch your bags, Nall!" "Nall is not good at all" "Shut up Razlo". The last two lines are a reference to Livio's split personality, Razlo the Tri-P of death.
