• Animutation Artist Un-J has a small guest apperance in this cartoon along with two of his college friends Tom Thatis and Travis.
• Many backgrounds used throughout BSB were pictures taken by Nathew, including one of central park (Giant Clive scene), one of his street (Car Crash scene), and one of a mural made by Daniel Johnston in Austin, TX (Al Gore Backup Singers scene). He also took the picture of Rusty.
• Ronnie Woo Woo's shouting of "Woo! Animutation! Woo!" references the way he shouts "Woo! Cubs! Woo!" and various other things at Chicago Cubs games.
