The Furby is an electronic toy made by Tiger Electronics in 1998. It starts out speaking Furbish, but over time, it learns English phrases. The Emoto-Tronic Furby, made by Hasbro in 2005, has voice recognition and more complex facial movements.
Different types of Furby have appeared in various animutations. For example, a human-faced Furby in Wizard Power, a skinless Furby in Onsokumaru's Great Adventure, and a Furby from the Game Boy Color game Dancing Furby in Sayonara Super-Star.
