Trivia

• The line "Suck it, Trebek!" is a reference to Saturday Night Live's "Celebrity Jeopardy" sketch; it's one of many stinging barbs Sean Connery would throw at Alex Trebek at the slightest provocation.
• The "Evil Empire" building is a reference to a flash movie by Jeremy Bush titled "Dream". [1]
• Nicholas's scheme ("Phase 1: Produce evil mutant clone army of Alex Trebeks. Phase 2: Phase 3: Profit!") is a reference to the plans of the Underpants Gnomes from South Park.
• The subliminal message "Mother Brain is my master" was taken fron an episode of Captain N: The Game Master. It was from the "Paperboy" episode where Mother Brain hypnotises the townspeople by printing the phrase "Mother Brain is my master" on newspapers and cookbooks.
• "Nothing can kill The Grimace" is a reference to the third episode of Clerks: The Animated Series.
• When you get to the end of the animutation, instead of clicking on Hello Kitty, click the Play button to see some surprises. What you see depends on how many times you've clicked Play.
  • 1st time: Deleted scene with Link and Ouchy the Clown (this can also be accessed by the Special Features menu).
  • 2nd time: Vash The Stampede from Trigun appears and yells "Love and Peace!" in a heavy Japanese accent (subtitled "Love and Pizza").
  • 3rd time: The screen goes dark, and a voice says "Welcome to the end of the computer age!". This is a direct ripoff of the Software Publisher's Association's "Don't Copy That Floppy" educational video.
• This animutation used to be on Youtube, like Suzukisan, until a copyright claim was filed by Randy Constan. The YouTube re-release of this video replaces Constan's likeness with the words "DMCA Violation" on a green background.
• In one of life's strange and sad concidences, both Sean Connery (whose Bond is the one that kills the Trebek clones) and Alex Trebek would die in 2020 only a week apart from each other.
• Dwedit would release a 20th Anniversary HD remaster in February 2022. The flash is available on both his website and YouTube.
  • The ending of the 20th Anniversary remaster features electronic beeping at the end of the animutation. The reason for this is unknown.
