Meowth is a normal-type Pokemon in the Pokemon series of video games. It can be obtained in Blue, Silver, Crystal, Firered, Leafgreen, Emerald, and XD. It is widespread in all but the last two, where you can trade a Skitty for a Meowth in Emerald and snag a Meowth from Cipher Peon Fostin in XD. Meowth looks like a light-yellow cat.
Meowth adores shiny and circular things, especially coins. It seems to be nocturnal, so during the night, when it is awake, it searches the streets for lost change. If it spots something shiny, the gold coin on its head also shines.
