It was a night like this
40 million years ago
I lit a cigarette
Picked up a monkey skull to go

The sun was spitting fire
The sky was blue as ice
I felt a little tired
So I watched Miami Vice

And walked the dinosaur
I walked the dinosaur

Open the door
Get on the floor
Everybody walk the dinosaur!
Open the door
Get on the floor
Everybody walk the dinosaur!
Open the door
Get on the floor
Everybody walk the dinosaur!
Open the door
Get on the floor
Everybody walk the dinosaur!

I met you in a cave
You were painting buffalo
I said I'd be your slave
Follow wherever you go

That night we split a rattlesnake
And danced beneath the stars
You fell asleep, I stayed awake
And watched the plastic cars!

And walked the dinosaur
I walked the dinosaur

Trivia

  • The title of this fanimutation refers to the fact that the song "Walk the Dinosaur" is cut off before the part about Elvis. Also, the song "Walk the Dinosuar" was orignally chosen mainly for the line about Elvis. But as Toxic got tired of it, he decided to change songs halfway through.
  • The beginning of the film briefly parodies the obnoxiously cute flash music video "Shii's Song".
  • While the "100% authentic Japanese reciept" is authentic Japanese, it isn't a reciept; it's really the back label from a book (the book being 'X Volume 2', part of a manga series from CLAMP).
  • Strangely enough, there was an Elvis in the writing credits of the Was (Not Was) album "What Up, Dog!": Elvis Costello.

Cultural References

  • The phrase "Burninating the countryside!" is a reference to Homestar Runner. It's part of the Trogdor theme song written by Strong Bad.
  • The line "These Pretzels Are Making Me Thirsty", a rather quick message displayed near the beginning, is from Seinfeld episode "The Alternate Side", #11 of season 3."
  • The phrase "SIGN MY POODLE, SI'L VOUS PLAIT!" that appears shortly before the Weird Al Dinosaur is from the song "Genius In France" on Weird Al Yankovic's album "Poodle Hat."
  • The "and so the universe ended" clip from the end is from an adaptation of The Restaurant At the End of the Universe.
  • The recurring subliminal message "My spoon is too big" is a reference to Don Hertzfeldt's animated short Rejected.

Easter Eggs

  • At the end, right-click on the animutation and select "Play" for some "fan-service"... in the form of Hot Anime Walruses!
    • At the end of this, right click on the animutation and select "Play" and you will get Toxic's list of unused songs
