- The song is not a serious performance, but rather a skit from a comedy routine whose popularity spawned music videos. The topic: politics. Intrestingly, the fanimutation parallels the original song's satirical message.
Trivia
- Shockwave Flashback is a remake of this fanimutation by Andrew Kepple.
- The record in the 'Colin Mochrie record player' section spins backwards. Vinyl records ordinarily spin clockwise; this one spins anticlockwise. Near the end of this section, the caption "ÖÖÖÖ <-- Aaugh, bears!" appears for a brief moment as a reference to the game ZZT.
- The chess game after the Parappa scene is a Scholar's Mate.
- The second cloud sequence, and also a line at the end, are references to a Space Ghost Coast to Coast episode, specifically the "shampoo for your hair... and your brain!", Al Roker, and "Continued use may result in limb loss", which reference Chambraign.
