Trivia
- "Gazorninplat" is a reference to an episode of "Garfield and Friends", where Garfield tries to get rid of the goody-two-shoes Buddy Bears by tricking them into looking up information on gazorninplats.
- Richard Fairbrass's gloved arm is from the cover of the 1994 Right Said Fred single "Wonderman."
- The "dancing eggplant" that appear in the background at one point are actually from the lesser-known but just as badly-translated ending of "Zero Wing".
- The first frame of the movie has a picture of Meta Knight with a bag of Fritos saying "Give me the Fritos! ...For I am the Frito Bandito!"
