Audio Details

• The song used in the animutation, like many other great animutations that used Japanses songs before it, stems from an anime. In this case, the song stems from a street-racing anime called Initial D.

Trivia

• "Kortal Mombat: Maolin Shonks" is a parody of "Kortal Mombat" from Plan 9 From Underpants. The term Maolin Shonks is actually spoonerism of the phrase Shaolin Monks, a game from the Mortal Kombat franchise, which is believed to be source of the Kortal Mombat parody used by animutatiors.
• References to other Animutations:
  • Hyakugojyuuichi: Colin Mochrie Sun
  • Mostly Metal Jacket: Alex Chiu also lives on Cardboard Box Street in a house simliar to Colin Mochrie's house
