The Animucademy Awards was an awards ceremony created by Wartys Neryon. The Animucademy Awards committee committed some time to judging what will be the potential finalists to be voted upon. The first one, for the 2005-2006 season started on January 29, 2006, and the results, as follows, were announced about two weeks later:
Winners:
- Best Animutation: Gone With the Wind 1979
- Best NSFW Work: 3.14
- Best Scene in a Collaboration: I Walk Along Darkened Corridors from The Fingertips Project
- Best Animutator: Flashbastard
- Most Improved Animutator: KKyuubi
- Best English Music: 3.14 from 3.14
- Best Non-English Music: Sakura Sake from Sad2Laugh
- Best Mondegreen: "Alright, chump. We no speak Engrish." from Asian Pride
- Best Colin Mochrie Cameo: "Rockin' Along Darkened Corridors" from The Fingertips Project
- Best Non-Mochrie Character: Monstar from Gone With the Wind 1979
- Least Complex Animutation: Wild Wild West
